Lime Repointing

Pointing is the replacement of exposed mortars which have been damaged by time and weathering. Good pointing prevent water from entering and damaging a wall structure. John Conway from the The Hollies Centre Cork, will host a day workshop covering the technique of pointing between stones on an old wall as a way giving them strength and durability as well as improving the aesthetic look.
