Sand Casting with Bronze
Ciaran Patterson is a sculptor, 3D fabrication specialist, and educator based in Wicklow. He works as a sculpture and 3D technician at TU Dublin and teaches evening bronze casting courses at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD).
With an extensive background in physical fabrication, metalworking, and advanced mould-making techniques, Ciaran specializes in traditional and contemporary foundry processes.
At this year's In Hand Forum, he is running an intensive, hands-on sand casting workshop, sharing his technical expertise to guide participants through metal casting and basic patination techniques.
